Ramsha Khan is ready to play an extremely powerful role with a cause of raising awareness about marital and domestic abuse in her upcoming drama serial ‘Kaisa Hai Naseeban’ that will soon be going on air on ARY Digital.

Khan will be playing a lead role in the serial that has been directed by Ahmed Bhatti and written by Sameena Aijaz, the drama’s main plot revolves around domestic abuse, while highlighting the plight faced by girls when they get married to a person who is living in another country.

In the teasers & first look of Kaisa Hai Naseeban, Ramsha Khan is seen playing a wide eyed, innocent girl who is trying to make things work while thrown in the pit of fire with an abusive husband (Muneeb Butt) and a vicious mother in law (played by Uzma Gillani).

Speaking about the role Khan stated, “I signed up for Kaisa Hai Naseeban because I wanted not just to play a ‘mazloom larki’ on television, but also build awareness about marital abuse that is so prevalent in the society and how it is important to find the strength to fight for yourself.”

“This is the 21st century, we need to understand that just because a marriage proposal is taking a girl to a country more developed than Pakistan, it is not a sure shot guarantee for a great future for her… there is a major possibility of things going wrong, that our girls, and even her well-wishing parents do not realise!” Khan further added.”

Ramsha Khan has fast risen to fame in television due to her grounded attitude and acting prowess, and currently her drama serial Khudparast, is not only one of the top rated serials on ARY Digital, but has been garnering great reviews for the young actress as well.
