So, ladies, I am pretty sure you’ll like to learn about a few tricks from perfect skin to quick makeover steps, no matter how little or more interested you are in learning about makeup.
Well, the first thing to do is keep your skin fresh, glowing, and clear. I always say there is no magic wand that gives you the desired makeup look in just one go. You need to take care of your skin according to seasonal, environmental, and emotional changes. As you have to look fresh throughout the year, you have to take care of your skin; cleansing and toning are the best things to do. First of all, start cleansing preferably twice or a minimum of once a day with any milky/creamy cleanser, according to your skin tone, and rinse off with lukewarm water preferably with the best suitable face wash after a gentle massage while removing all day’s dirt with soft tissue paper or cotton in upward directions.
After cleansing, here comes toning with a mild, alcohol-free toner (you can also use rose water) to refresh your skin and remove excess cleanser or dirt. After cleansing, you are on your way towards the best moisturizing, choose the suitable moisturizer according to your skin type and give your skin the much-needed moisture. Most skin care specialists recommend moisturizers with an SPF of 15 or higher. This is the minimal range to use Sun Protective Factor SPF, as using it in a higher ratio would also be harmful for you. A higher ratio of SPF can clog pimples if you carry it for long hours.
Though every time it’s not necessary to use sunblock or beauty products with SPF, I recommend using it when required; when you need to specially hydrate the skin, or if your skin is extra dry.
Here comes the ultimate concealer, but first of all, you need to be very careful when it comes to concealer selection; always choose a color slightly lighter than your skin tone. Concealer works as magic at times, because it instantly improves the skin tone and hides almost all the skin flaws. Concealer not only hides dark circles but also hides itself under the foundation layer and other quick touch-ups. Another important thing is to use it thoroughly and properly on your face, just dot it on the face where needed and gently blend it with your fingertips. Moreover, if you feel that concealer is still not enough to hide blemishes, then you are suggested to use a color corrector. Besides that, you can use an eye cream to treat dryness, dark circles, and puffiness around the eyes.
The routine makeup starts with Foundation as it is the best way to show your even skin tone, apply it throughout the face while managing the quantity you require to make the layer thick or thin. Preferably, apply it on the forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks, and blend it with a soaked sponge. A foundation brush is another good option, specifically for fuller coverage. But if you are not in the mood to use foundation, then you can replace it with tinted moisturizer. After applying foundation, now you need to strip a few shades onto your cheek or jawline, exactly according to your skin tone, to look natural. As an alternative, you may try liquid cream or any other moisturizing formula if your skin is extra dry. You know what, liquid foundation goes best in blending with delicate skin.
Once you are done with your base, then apply light-colored loose powder to set your foundation and control oil. Well, even after that, you’ll need to use pressed powder for final touch-ups as long as you carry it; only if your skin is not extra dry. Till now, half of your makeover is done. Hope you have improved your makeup ideas. For the remaining makeover steps and towards the journey of self-exploration, you have to wait for the next part. Cheers.
