The mega sports event will see participation from 80+ athletes from all over Pakistan.

Malam Jabba Ski Resort is honoured to announce National Cycling Championship scheduled from 27th – 28th February 2021. The mega sports event would see 80+ athletes from all over Pakistan competing for the title of Cycling Champion in the rugged yet scenic terrain of Malam Jabba.

The Championship comprises of an uphill race for a 35KM track that provides a unique opportunity to professional athletes as well as thrill seekers to showcase their skills with picturesque backdrop of mountains of Malam Jabba and large audience in attendance. Pearl Continental Malam Jabba in collaboration of Aero Cycling are offering cash prizes of PKR. 100,000 to the winner, followed by PKR 75,000 for the second position, and PKR. 50,000 for the runner up.

Indeed, the National Cycling Championship is organized with the aim to promote winter adventure & summer sports in the country as well as projecting the softer image of “Asia’s Best Kept Secret” to the world. The participation of local athletes & attendance from domestic tourists will support the sports and tourism industry in Pakistan and provide a healthy outlet to the youth to express themselves.

In addition to the Cycling Championship, other prominent attractions include tug of war, archery, movie night, uphill race, cultural performances & food festival. The event aims to attract huge crowds with scrumptious food stalls, kids play area, winter sports, adventurous rides and much more.

Registrations are still open for cyclists to participate in the event.
