Mahnoor Cheema, an 18-year-old British Pakistani student, has turned heads around the world by topping her A Level exams in ways no one has before. She passed a massive 24 A Level subjects, each with distinction, setting a new world record, all done in one go without repeating any exams.
That is not all. She also earned 19 top grades, A and A star in her A Levels alone. When you add her earlier 34 A star grades from GCSE or O Levels, the total jumps to a staggering 45 A stars, another record no secondary school student has ever achieved. And in total, Mahnoor now holds 58 subjects passed with distinction when you include both her A Levels and GCSEs.
This is six academic world records in one go. She will join Oxford University in October to study medicine, fulfilling a childhood dream. In an emotional message, she shared how grateful she feels for her parents’ support. She said she owes everything to their sacrifices.
Mahnoor’s success also caught attention at home. She met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and former PM Nawaz Sharif. They praised her, calling her the daughter of the nation. Imagine one teen meeting two of the most powerful leaders in the country.
She does not just excel in academics. She also has a music diploma linked to a university degree level, plus gold medals in acting and public speaking. She even managed to complete her Extended Project Qualification in ten days and scored a perfect 100 percent.
Mahnoor’s achievements mirror hard work, focus, and a love for learning. She lived and homeschooled in the UK after moving from Lahore in her childhood. She embraced a tough workload but managed to shine academically and personally. This story is not just about breaking numbers. It is about breaking barriers. A young girl from a Pakistani family is chasing excellence and showing that dreams can come true with grit and passion.
